Tennis
In tennis, you can bet on an individual set or the overall match winner. Winning a set does not automatically mean your match-winner bet wins.
Basketball
Depending on the fixture, bet on the winner, total points or a handicap. Whether overtime counts depends on the market; a quarter bet is settled on that quarter alone.
Ice hockey
An ice hockey game can be tied at the end of regulation time and decided in overtime or a shootout. Your bet is settled according to whether the selected market includes those periods.

Place your bet before the event starts
In the sportsbook, choose an upcoming event and the market you want to bet on. Place your pre-match bet before the event starts. Once it is under way, you can bet in the live section.
When the game is already under way
The live section lets you bet on events in progress. Odds and available markets can change during play. Your bet is only accepted once it has been confirmed online.
Live scores and streams may be delayed. Do not rely solely on the on-screen match clock or score when placing a bet.
Understanding betting markets
A bet on the winner is settled differently from a bet on total goals. The period of play also matters: a first-half or second-half bet only covers the selected half.
Match result
In a three-way market, 1 means a home win, X a draw and 2 an away win. Whether only regulation time counts depends on the market name and the sport-specific rules.
Total goals or points
Bet on whether the total goals or points will be over or under the stated line. Which team wins is irrelevant to this bet.
Handicap
For settlement, one side is given a notional advantage or disadvantage. The handicap line and available outcomes determine when your selection wins.
Singles, accumulators and system bets
Single bet
A single bet covers exactly one selection. If you stake CHF 10 at accepted decimal odds of 2.00 and win, you receive CHF 20 back. This includes your CHF 10 stake, leaving a net profit of CHF 10.
Accumulator
Multiple selections are combined on one bet slip. Their odds are multiplied together, and all settled selections must win for the accumulator to pay out. If one settled selection loses, the accumulator loses.
System bet
A system bet consists of several combinations of your selections. Some combinations can win even if not every prediction is correct. The total payout from the winning combinations can still be lower than your overall stake.
Esports with your ColdBet account
Bet on esports such as Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2 and League of Legends. Use the same login details as for sports betting and casino games. Depending on the tournament, you can bet on the whole match or an individual map. A map-winner bet only covers the selected map.
Virtual sports are a separate category. A simulated event is not an esports match between human teams.
Choose sports and casino bonuses separately
When using a sports bonus, your bets are subject to the terms of the selected promotion. Minimum odds, eligible bet types and a wagering deadline may apply. Bonus wagering refers to qualifying stakes, not your winnings. You must meet the relevant promotion terms before withdrawing.
Before depositing
To claim a deposit bonus, your deposit must meet the terms of the selected sports promotion. These may include a minimum deposit and activation before depositing. A deposit made for a casino bonus does not automatically activate a sports bonus.
When placing bets
Not every sports bet contributes towards bonus wagering. If your bet does not meet the minimum odds or eligible bet type, it may be excluded from wagering. The wagering deadline for your promotion also applies.
Using promo codes
A code is only valid for its specific promotion and eligibility terms. A casino code is not a general sports bonus code.
What happens after you place a bet
Accepted bets
Your bet is only accepted after our online confirmation. As a rule, you cannot change or cancel an accepted sports or live bet afterwards.
Void selections
If a single bet is voided, your stake is refunded. In an accumulator or system bet, a void selection is excluded from settlement. A postponed event does not automatically make a bet void.
Cash-out and bet slip sales
If cash-out is offered for your bet, you can sell all or part of your bet slip before normal settlement. The amount offered may change and can be lower than your original stake. Cash-out is not available for every bet slip and may be suspended.
Results and settlement
Settlement follows the rules for the sport and selected market. Incorrectly settled bets may be adjusted. For settlement enquiries, give our support team your bet slip number, the event and your selection.

No. You can bet on available live markets without watching a video stream. Live scores and TV pictures may be delayed. A broadcast does not guarantee that a market is still open or that your bet will be accepted.
Does a casino bonus apply to sports betting?
Not automatically. Sports promotions and casino bonuses have different terms. A sports bonus may have specific minimum odds, eligible bet types and wagering deadlines. A casino promo code does not automatically activate a sports promotion.
How do I know my bet has been accepted?
Our online confirmation is what counts. Adding a selection to your bet slip does not mean the bet has been accepted. You can find your registered bets in your account betting history.
What are the minimum and maximum stakes?
Stake limits are set for individual selections and can vary by sport and event. For accumulators or system bets with different maximum stakes, the lowest of these limits applies. There is therefore no single maximum stake for all sports bets.
What happens to a void selection in my accumulator?
A void selection is removed when your accumulator is settled. This changes the combined odds used for settlement. If a single bet is void, your stake is refunded.
